We are thrilled to announce that Merry Maids UK has once again been named an official charity partner in support of Alzheimer’s Society for 2026, marking our third consecutive year of support.

Working alongside the other six brands in the ServiceMaster UK Brands, we are proud to support Alzheimer’s Society as the charity of the year. Together, we have pledged to raise an additional £5,000 as we work towards our £20,000 fundraising target throughout 2026.

As part of our longstanding commitment to supporting Alzheimer’s Society, Merry Maids UK raised £10,000 last year. In 2023, as Dementia Friends, Merry Maids UK also raised more than £4,000 through the Merry Maids UK nationwide Forget Me Knot Challenge campaign.

Over the past two years, Merry Maids have taken their commitment even further by funding Dementia and Alzheimer’s awareness training for all their staff through Alzheimer’s Society.

This means our customers living with dementia can benefit from a more understanding and supportive home cleaning experience, while their loved ones enjoy added peace of mind knowing that Merry Maids UK cleaners are trained to respond with compassion & care. We are proud to continue this initiative and ensure all new team members receive Alzheimer’s awareness training through Alzheimer’s Society.

Merry Maids UK is proud to be the only domestic cleaning company in the UK committed to providing its entire workforce with certified training supplied by Alzheimer’s Society, helping us deliver dementia-aware domestic cleaning services with confidence and compassion.

The training gives their workforce a deeper understanding of how dementia can affect individuals and the people around them. This is especially valuable when cleaning the home of someone living with dementia, helping their teams provide thoughtful, respectful support while giving families extra reassurance that their home and loved ones are in safe hands.
