Merry Maids Lincoln has been established for over 23 years, is based in Uphill, Lincoln was previously owned by Wendy and is now owned and operated by Humera.
We clean many homes within Lincoln and have a fantastic team of 18 maids whom are all trained in the ‘Merry Maid Way’, a proven, thorough and effective way of cleaning the home.

- The Maids
We send 2 members of uniformed maids on every clean, who are fully trained, bring all of our own products and equipment and are health & safety trained. Our maids have gone through a rigorous training programme and are experts in what they do. - Your Keys
Your keys are kept in our key safe, the tag does not represent your address and the maids do not EVER take the keys home, they are always returned to our key safe at the end of every day and signed back in. - Your Home
We clean from top to bottom, left to right and take great care around your home although we are insured to protect you as well as our maids and our business. We do not go in cupboards, drawers or wardrobes or put things away. We NEVER invade your privacy. We also lock ourselves in to a clean, so that the home is secure whilst we are in it.

I think it’s rather too long, so feel free to edit bits out. I wanted to get across the importance of making time for life and loved ones and how having your help, particularly when life is hectic, can make a huge difference:
I have used Merry Maids service for some years now, at intervals when life has been fast paced, where there just hasn’t been enough hours in the day to get everything done and I have always found their staff and service to be exceptional.
Several years ago, I was struggling to keep on top of cleaning, to the standard I like. I was working long hours and finding it difficult to fit everything in. I was talking to a friend about it and she recommended Merry Maids, she couldn’t speak highly enough of them.
I contacted Wendy (Proprieter) and she made an appointment to come and see the house and discuss the type of clean I was looking for.
I told her I was worried that I wasn’t able to clean ceiling to floor in every room regularly enough. We have a couple of bedrooms which didn’t get used much but I wanted them to be kept fresh, as we had frequent visitors staying at weekends.
Wendy wasted no time putting together a routine, which involved cleaning the least used rooms, on a rotational basis and explained that at each clean, a room of choice could be selected for a ‘deep’ clean, which meant everything was pulled out and hoovered behind, windows cleaned, everything ‘spring’ cleaned, to a sparkle.
What a difference it made to our lives to have that extra help. I selected a fortnightly pattern at first which worked best at that time. It gave me more time to be with my family and friends at weekends, which way outweighed the niggling guilt I for some reason felt, for getting this help.
The Staff were always cheerful and so helpful, offering to make up beds if they saw it needed doing, really nothing was too much trouble.
As time went on, I reduced my working hours, which meant I had much more time, so I had a break from the cleaning service.
More recently, due to my husband falling ill and wanting to spend every moment I could with him, I contacted Wendy to ask for the cleaning service to resume. She and her Staff were so concerned and couldn’t do enough to accommodate, adding extra little touches here and there, which I really appreciated.
When Covid19 hit both I and Wendy had no choice but to have a break, until we were all told it was safe to continue.
Wendy called me a few weeks ago, explaining that the service was soon to be re-started and reassured me of the high standards she has put in place for the protection of her customers and her staff. They have been provided with protective clothing, which include masks, aprons and gloves. Their cleaning products are anti-viral and the cloths and dusters they use, are carefully laundered, each one having single use, for a specific room.
It was a very welcome call and Wendy minimised risk even further, by allocating the same 2 staff, whom I am very fond of. They worked a system whereby myself and my husband, stayed in one room safely, whilst they did their magic.
I know that in making the decision to get some help a few years ago, gave me the opportunity to make the very most of having precious time with my husband and in the light of his health condition, I am so grateful that I did.
So, thank you Merry Maids, for being reliable, flexible, professional and so very good at what you do.
