Merry Maids raise £10,000 for Alzheimer’s Society!
Merry Maids UK has raised £10,000 for its Charity of the Year, Alzheimer’s Society.
This year, Merry Maids UK staff have attended workshops hosted by Alzheimer’s Society to learn more about dementia.
Last year we raised £4,000 for Alzheimer’s Society through the Forget Me Knot Challenge..
This year, Merry Maids staff nationwide participated in our second annual Forget Me Knot Challenge, alongside multiple other fundraising activities supported by our customers to help raise a huge amount of money for Alzheimer’s Society.
As part of our fundraising efforts staff walked, ran and cycled 8,715 miles – which is the distance from the UK to Papua New Guinea.
What our support means
We recently had the pleasure of presenting Meg Foxall, a Regional Fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Society, with a cheque for the money raised at our head office in Leicester.
