Merry Maids Solihull began trading back in 1996 when the previous owner ran Merry Maids Solihull. In June 2014 Tom Jackson had the opportunity to take over Merry Maids Solihull as the current owner began his retirement
After 19 years of trading, many of the maids have worked for Merry Maids 
Solihull for years, with most maids being with Merry Maids for an impressive 10 years! We now have 18 maids across our growing cleaning business in Solihull, giving us the flexibility to take on ‘last minute’ cleans in Solihull and ensure that during periods of limited staffing through holidays and sickness, that you still receive your scheduled clean to the standard that you have come to expect.

Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friends programme is the biggest ever initiative to change people’s perceptions of dementia. It aims to transform the way the nation thinks, talks and acts about the condition. Dementia touches the lives of millions of people across the UK. Dementia Friends was launched to tackle the stigma and lack of understanding that means many people with the condition experience loneliness and social exclusion.
A Dementia Friend or Dementia Friends Champion such as the maids at Merry Maids of Solihull are individuals who have a better understanding of dementia; will know how to act more sympathetically towards people with dementia in their communities and workplaces; and has committed to taking a practical action to help people with dementia, contributing to a dementia friendly community.
