“I always find it is easier to wipe down the worktop as I go, for instance, as I finish preparing dinner, as I finish cooking dinner and as I load the dishwasher. This way, I never seem to have a huge amount to do at the end of the day. If you spill something, wipe it up immediately, as if you leave it, your worktop may stain, or the spillage will be stubborn to remove.”
Keep your cupboards tidy
Try to organise as much of your kitchen equipment as possible. If you keep items in cupboards, your work surfaces are clear, and cleaning is much quicker. It might be hard, but sometimes organising your kitchen might be the best form of cleaning you do!
Check the sink
Believe it or not, your kitchen sink is one of the dirtiest places in your home. In fact, one study revealed that 47% of kitchen sinks had coliform bacteria, while 27% tested positive for mould!
Swill it every time you use it and remove waste, that way when you come to clean the sink, it should be stain-free and quick to clean.
